Clay Buchholz on the DL
The Red Sox announced this afternoon that they placed righthander Clay Buchholz on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 17, with a lower back strain. RedSox.com
Well there was speculation before the Buchholz injury that we were going to go to a 6 man rotation with Andrew Miller getting called up to start. Now I guess we are just going to stay with the 5 man rotation with Tim Wakefield(who's pitching great) and Andrew Miller who is going to have another crack at the Majors. All of us are drinking his kool aid right now, but more than likely I see him as a short term rotation guy, and a future in the bullpen.
For now, I'm not worried about the Sox pitching, they way our offense is going they can carry mediocre outings.
