4 Sox, 2 Rays
The good news is that Adrian Gonzalez, David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia and Darnell McDonald all knocked in runs and the Red Sox won again. The bad news is that Clay Buchholz left the game in the 5th after giving up 2 hits, 1 run and only threw 81 pitches. Daniel Bard retired all four batters he faced and closer Jonathan Papelbon worked through a ninth-inning jam to earn his 13th save in 14 opportunities.
The Sox got to David Price early as they seemed to have men on bases the 1st couple innings, but he was able to straighten out and only let up 3 earned runs.
I don't know the extent of Buchholz injury but lets hope he's ok, because the Sox can't afford another starter to go on the DL.
