Mike Patterson Seems To Be OK

Scary scene yesterday when Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson suffered a seizure at practice. The word is that he could be out of the hospital as early as today, but no one knows if he will be able to play. Actually word is that things could get worse before they get better. Patterson has been diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which is the tangling of blood vessels near the skull, and this may need surgery. They are waiting to see what other options are out there, so that is why his future is so up in the air.

I hope they go through with the surgery soon and get it over with, because it sounds like at some point he is going to need it anyways. Like I said before there is no word on his recovery time, but things seem to be under control for now.
