FROM THE OFFICE OF MIKE GILBERT

Hey Gang,

how goes? stuff's been real busy back west, lemme tell ya. just wrapped up my first vinyl show in vancouver, huge hit! there was about 30 artists, and about 200 spectators! never sold mine, but i made more than enough contacts to keep me smilin'!

trying to be a painter is proving itself quite hard. its alot more work than i figured, but im getting experimental as f$%k with this stuff. granted, i may need part time work to support myself and my newfound dreamjob, but whatev, its all a part of it i guess.

vancouver is so muggy. i look like a bronzed god though lol. its good to be back in the land of mountains! as well as the land of crime. and meth addicts. and hookers! ahh debautchery. the f$%ing liquor prices are retarded out here! i forgot all about it, what a pain!

enough about that. seriously though, nothings new really. this place is pricey as s#$!.

well, i miss you all, but hey, keep in touch! lets swap some photos! im still missing the halifax trip photos, as well as moncton, and whatever else. none of my friends believe me that i was even in the east coast as i have no proof!

well, gotta jet, but enjoy some of the pics from my show. theyre just pics of the work we all did for the show, nothing personal. i got some pics of me from when i was recording some tracks for my cd, lookin sharp of course!

can someone forward this message to the rest? i dont have everyones email. thanks yo!

peace to tha east mothaf#$@as!

Check this Kat out. Mr.Murphy is his name, world domination is his game.

This photo was sent in from our pals at Dacapo Productions. This is Clint's cat Mr.Murphy. Could there be a more evil cat? I doubt it.

MY VISIT WITH DACAPO | WINNIPEG PT.1

Some of you may remember when Dacapo Productions (Olaf Pyttlik and Clint Skibitzky) visited us back in March .

Back then, Olaf asked me to go jogging with him one morning and to my surprise, I actually went. That morning we ran 10 kilometers and well, I was hooked.

After I recovered (3 days) I was hooked... ... that is... :o)

This is a great hunch-back of Clint..haha!

Since then I've been jogging on and off. Small distances only, 5 km usually; I didn't want to feel like I did after I ran with Olaf but yet here I find myself limping around and cursing every step on ever set of stairs. You see, back in March Olaf said "Hey just think, if you keep this jogging up, you could come out and run the Manitoba Marathon with me in June". As I wimpered, lying on my couch I thought he was nuts, but it's clearly me that is out of his mind.

About 5 hours ago I returned from Winnipeg and the Manitoba Marathon. The great boys at Dacapo flew me out to run in their relay team. There were five legs of the marathon and five different runners. I was the first out of the gate in the first leg taking on 9.2 km. I haven't done that since Olaf and I ran 10km back in March!! But I was feeling good so I went for it.

After the first leg, I was feeling great, still had lots of energy so I handed off the relay belt to Olaf but kept running with him.

Quite possibly the most un masculine picture of Olaf and I that there ever will be.

Still feeling good after 17km. Feeling silly even! So I kept running, this time with Nolan Balzer!

While I was running with Nolan we hit the half way mark of the Marathon which is 14 miles or 20 kilometers. I was starting to feel it, my legs were getting real tired and my feet were starting to hurt. I could feel a huge blister on my big toe!! I told Nolan "Save yourself, go on without me!". As I slowed down to a painful crawl, I watched Nolan dissapear over the horizon.

Here's a good shot of Nolan finishing his stretch of the race, he's such a nice guy, he stuck around and waited for me to finish the third leg. He wasn't even out of breath!

Man was I ever tired! 25.33 Kilometers in 2:40! - I don't know if that's good, but I feel awesome.

Now, if I could just manage to walk down the steps from the studio to the street, I've been here for 3 days. MY LEGS HURT!!

FROM THE OFFICE OF DOUG LITTLE

Here's a couple pics I found on my hard drive at home from the old college days. I'll just send 'em all. Hopefully there is some ammunition in there for ya. lol. Couple funny ones of Dave.

"Dad Jam" - Thats my dad playing bass at our grad party at Alexandria's. The bass guy didnt show up, so I said "Go to 'er Pops". He's played bass for 35 years in several bands. His arthritic fingers didn't appreciate my zeal. :)

"Most of Grad class" - Just that. Most of my grad class. Top Row - Mike Roy, Rodney King, Simon Richard, Marc Daigle, Jessica Beckett, Christine Cunningham, Joel Smith, Nathan Carnahan. Front Row - Dave Michaud, Rene Daigle, Jon Beaman, Julie Malenfant, Natalie Robichaud, Korey McCumber, Adam "Hair" Terrio, Doug Little, Heather Fowler (No relation).

"NBCC studies thier competitors" - Me, Michaud, Rodney King and Adam Terrio scope out the competition at the Ottawa Animation Festival circa 2000.
"Shame" - Picture it...College Graduation....David "Fumble Fingers" Michaud goes down to get his diploma....He drops it and recoils in horror at his gaff and the Dean has to stoop down and pick up his papers. Mwahahaaa. Dave you dumb ass.

HAHA!! Thanks Dougie!!

BANFF BRIEF BY BUDDY BOLTON | 2006

The mountains approaching Banff.

ANDREW DUNN at the "castle".

Oh this one was takin before we left...but thought youd enjoy Dunn on a MINIbike.

Dunn was a work machine...we had little time for play, but squeezed in some horseback riding...but Dunn was still " manning" the phones.
Charlie the Squirrel was very helpful in preparing us for pitches..he had some great recommendations we followed.

Andrew and this cowboy spent some quality "alone" time "ranching"...if you know what I mean.

Charlie loves licorice!!!

What a great event had by all! - Lots of exciting news!!!

- buddy.

MIRAMICHI IS THE FATTEST!!

Hey you Fatkats. Miramichi is officially one of Canada's fattest cities!

While this is could be good for PR and marketing for us Fatkats, it's quite seriously not something to be proud of.

Perhaps we should take some strides to throw some ideas of fitness around to the business districts and chambers of commerce, town councils etc. Hitting up some of the local greasy spoons to serve healthier foods at their restaurants? - Damn... We gotta do something people!!

My first step, well i'm going to run the Miramichi marathon come July 2nd! Who's with me? - Let's get a relay team together, everyone take a couple of kilometers! - Even if we walk the whole thing!! Who's with me folks!!! Sign up with Dan Elder!!

Let's drop some pounds and eat some greens!!

THE SWEETEST THING!

As some of you know we're building a brand spanking new website for Brian's Manufacturing. They make hockey equipment soley for goaltenders.

These guys are the monkey's uncle when it comes to this stuff too. They produce gear for goalies like Sean Burke of Tampa Bay, Ray Emery of the Ottawa Senators and Manny Legace for the Red Wings amongst hundreds of others. Well, in exchange for the website, they're now making some kustom gear for us!

Man oh man, look at this!! Kustom Fatkat Goalie gear!! - Here's the blocker - I almost peed when I saw these earlier, come to think of it, I think I just did again!!

Here's the innards from the trapper.

Here's what the leg pads are going to look like.

OOOoooOOoo!!! I'm not going to stop a puck at all this year, I'd be too afraid to scuff these babies!! (Not that I stop alot of pucks anyway - nyuk nyuk!!)

MORE NEW FATKATS!!

Please help me welcome some new Fatkats to the litter box!!

Meet Dallas Daigle, our Temporary Assistant. She's the Kat's Meow! - Filling in for our Momma Kat, Liz Hogan while she's out on vacation!! I have a feeling that Dallas will be hanging around though, even after Lizard comes back to the studio, she's a great help!

David Dick, as you all know by now, straight out of Vancouver this guy is my right hand man on the C21 project, he's doing awesome too.

Big Show (aka - Andrew Blodgett) - Most of you know him by now too, Big show was kidnapped by Andrew Dunn and I while we were in Ottawa a few weeks back. Since then he's climbed straight up through the ranks and is now my Senior Creative in charge of Commercial Production!! I love you Big Show!!

Sean Rule also from Vancouver, came in out of nowhere and is heading up a short demo we're doing for Debra the Zebra. This guy is rocking out!!

Some will remember Louis St.Pierre from the little adventure that Kieth, Melanie and Daniel went on a couple of months ago. We met Louis at the Compu College grad show in Moncton. As soon as I met Louis and saw his work I knew this guy was going to be working with us. He's the shizzle.

Jon Lambe, brother of an old buddy of mine Steve Lambe who also is a former Fatkat. Jon has tons of potential and is working hard to overthrow his brother as king poop. He'll do it here dude, this guys going to be great!!

Maki Fujimoto, this chick is the bee's knees - fresh out of Van Arts in B.C. This fair lady can do it all, draw, animate and she also pinned cameron in less then 8 seconds, greco roman style!!

Justin Lee, well what can I say about this dude, other then I think my wife has the hots for him. Fantastic talent and like Jon Lambe he's a graduate of NBCC's Animation course right here in town. This dude is going places!!

Help me wedgy them all after work today,

Gene.
